Asinine Monkey

The ramblings of a systems administrator

Asinine Monkey is a little project of mine based on a pseudonym that I use in a variety of online locations. If you're a regular on Club Nintendo or the PlayStation Network (to name but a few places) you're likely to have seen me floating around using that alias.

Thinking that it was about time I got back into some simple web design of my own, I registered this domain in August 2006 and settled comfortably into spending a few evenings playing around with various content management systems and working out what site design I wanted to go with it. In comparison to the RAMS content management system I wrote for Digital Spy a few years ago, I settled for something far more advanced and quite simply a web designer's dream.

If you're wondering who I am, my name's Jose Cardoso. I'm a systems administrator and web developer from South London with around 10 years experience in web development, IT administration and IT management.

I've been happily married to my wife since June 2006 whom I met in February 2003 and in my spare time you'll find me tinkering with this site, playing on my Nintendo Wii or PlayStation 3, dabbling in a little amateur photography or actively working on my next Final Cut Pro project.

I hope you find the site useful in some way and I'm open to comments or suggestions. Feel free to drop me a line if you want to get in touch or go ahead and link to me if you feel I'm worthy of that honour.
